Meet Our Staff
Craig Boone, President
After graduating in 1984 with honors from California State University, Fresno with his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Accounting, Craig started his accounting career with the international accounting firm of Price Waterhouse in Fresno and Sacramento. After 4 years, Craig returned to Fresno to work for a local CPA firm. In 1992, he started his own firm, Craig Boone & Associates, which he still manages today.
Craig has over 35 years of experience as a CPA and/or accountant providing professional tax, accounting and business consulting services to hundreds of individuals and small businesses in numerous industries. He has prepared and filed tax returns for clients in over 20 states and several countries. Craig also represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service, California Franchise Tax Board and other taxing authorities.
When not at work, Craig is active in the community as a board member, officer and founder of the non-profit organization Trauma Research & Education Foundation of Fresno (TREFF). He is also a member of the President's Council for Fresno First Bank and an active member of the Community President’s Club for Community Medical Foundation. In his spare time, Craig enjoys time with his family, traveling, fishing and golf.
Stephanie Moose, Accounting Clerk
Stephanie started with our firm in February 2021. Although she is new to taxes, her quick learning and high attention to detail has been beneficial to the firm. Stephanie's duties include preparing workpapers and income tax returns as well as bookkeeping in QuickBooks. She helps maintain order in the office by ensuring tax return files are organized and clients are kept informed. Prior to working at our firm, Stephanie worked for the City of Fresno for six years handling accounts payable and payroll.
Cortney Sarkhosh, Special Projects Coordinator
Cortney oversees various special projects including MyFTB accounts.
Lynette Smith, Firm Administrator & Office Manager
Lynette is the office manager and is responsible for scheduling, organizing and a multitude of day to day tasks to keep the office running efficiently. Lynette has an interest in tax and small business accounting. She is fluent in QuickBooks and Lacerte Tax. She is a Registered Tax Preparer with both the Internal Revenue Service and State of California. Before joining the firm, she owned and operated her own small business.
